Travelers heading to London from Stansted Airport via the Stansted Express train route can now connect to the internet through Icomera's onboard internet solution. 

Icomera not only supplies internet access for passengers on Bobardier's Class 379 trains, but also to staff and onboard systems-- including CCTv, passenger information and Bombardier's train management system. 

The trains carry SureWAN technology which switches between (and aggregates) multiple mobile data networks to ensure always-on broadband connectivity throughout the entire train. 

Icomera says this is the first time passengers, train operator and manufacturer/maintener will benefit from one core IP communications system.
