Samsung launches a pair of NFC-enabled printers at CeBIT 2014-- the Xpress C1860 series colour laser and the Xpress M2885 series mono-laser printers, both aideal for home office and SMB customers.

The Xpress C1860 colour laser and multifunction printer (MFPs) prints, copies, scans and faxes. It carries a dual CPU (533MHz main, 150MHz sub) and 256MB memory (upgradeable to 512MB) and polymerised toner for vivid and glossy colours.

Meanwhile the M2885 mono laser printer carries a 600MHz processor, 128MB memory and Rendering Engine for Clean Page (ReCP) technology for sharper text and clean images.

The "Easy Print Management" function is now also available for mobile devices, allowing device information, status and consumables monitoring via the combination of smartphone app and NFC connectivity. The Mobile Print app even features a selection of tutorial videos for customers to detect and solve errors without need for customer support.

Both printers are also compatible with the updated Cloud Print app, now featuring integrated Knox security capabilities.

The Xpress C1860 and M2885 printers will be available in European markets from April 2014.
