Vivitek D8800 for installations in large venue features 8000 lumens, native WUXGA resolution in 16:10 format, and built-in edge-blending technology. The Vivitek D8800 offers a broad range of connectivity solutions (including HDMI, DVI-D, Component, VGA and HDSDI-In and -Out, RS-232C and RJ45).
That makes the projector versatile for different uses: in concert or sports arenas as well as auditoriums.
Up to 10 user-defined lens positions (for focus, zoom, and lens shift) can be set and stored via Lens Posting Memory (LPS) allow changing environments. Six interchangeable lens options are available for flexible positioning in for a varying screen size or projection distance requirements. This projector can be stacked up to 4 times.
This projector also enables image warping and geometric corrections for installations projection on curved surfaces. The D8800 is network-ready for the integration and system administration via RJ45. The projector also features a built-in 12V trigger for external device controlling.
The front and side replaceable filters enable easy maintenance and the integrated dual-lamp switching technology allows for 24/7 operation by switching to single lamp operation should one lamp go down.
The Vivitek D8800 projector will be available from May 2012 and will be priced at 13.900 Euros including standard lens (excluding VAT). The projector will have three years warranty and one year or a maximum of 1,000 hours of lamp warranty (whichever comes first).
