Toshiba Europe GmbH announces the TD-U Series – its first dedicated business display series with an Ultra HD (3840 x 2160) resolution and 178 degree viewing angle.
Designed for 24/7 operation, the Toshiba TD-U Series is made for a range of uses particularly retail environments where a vibrant display can catch customer’s attention, even outside of opening hours. So far there are two 85” models, the TD-U852 and TD-U852TS (the latter model includes a touchscreen).
Made to show a near continuous stream of content, the TD-U Series combines an Ultra HD resolution and up to a 500 cd/m2 (nit) display. In addition, the 178 degree viewing angle allows for maximum impact from a wide range of positions. The 2.0 mm Corning Gorilla Glass finish protects against the usual scratches and cracks of regular use.
Administrators have high levels of scheduling and control when using the TD-U Series making manageability across their devices simple. With the Open Pluggable Specification (OPS) slot available on the TD-U852TS, users have the power to install, maintain and upgrade their displays with minimum hassle. This usability extends to a large range of input and output connections, including RS-232/LAN control which gives users the ability to manage the display remotely. Further to this, content administrators can display up to four different Full HD content feeds simultaneously in split screen mode via the multiple inputs to communicate a selection of messages at the same time.
With the ability to mount in both landscape and portrait orientation, the TD-U Series can be adapted to a range of space and content requirements while fitting into any environment with its matt black finish.
