Minicom says AVDS reduces total cost of ownership (TCO) by drawing content from a single media player (that saves on the licensing, and the cost of transmitting it to multiple screens, via CAT5 infrastructure, without burdening the IT network). AVDS allows players to be located in their natural environment (i.e Server Room),for easy maintenance, more stable systems, easy installation and scalability.
