Aten announces the VS82H, a means to distribute a 4K source to two HDMI displays at the same time complete with support for all kinds of HDMI-enabled equipment, such as DVD players and satellite STBs.

The splitter is HDCP 2.2 compliant, and includes automatic EDID detection to ensure customers with the best resolution across different screens. It supports the entire HDMI 2.0 feauture set, as well as Dolby TrueHD and DTS-HD Master 7.1 audio channel to ensure distortionless audio quality. Maximum resolution reaches true 4K (4096 x 2160 @ 60Hz, 4:4:4) with HDMI support, with maximum data rates of up to 18Gbps (6Gbps per lane).

Being bus-powered, the splitter charges directly from a devices connected through micro-USB port. The enclosure is in durable aluminium, making it ideal for all kinds of applications, be they personal, corporate, educational and commercial.
