Crestron announces an update for the Mercury tabletop meeting and UCC solution-- one bringing a UI with a more modern-looking, leaner design providing users with a simpler experience, including more intuitive navigation.
The redesigned UI will ship with all new Crestron Mercury units, and is available for all existing units via firmware upgrade. The firmware is part of an automatic update, making it the default on all systems. The Crestron website provides information on how to install the new UI on existing Mercury units, allowing technology managers to evaluate it before the auto-update.
Crestron Mercury now also integrates with the AirMedia 2.0 wireless presentation UI, providing automatic detection of the web browser and app installation for one-click wired or wireless connectivity and presentation, together with Miracast support. Also included are whiteboard content capture, display and sharing, and Crestron Certified Driver support enabling control of any display via the Mercury.
