Swedish Konftel offers its first wireless conference phone.

Konftel 300W incorporates OmniSound 2.0 audio, a battery that provides 48 hours talk-time and wireless connectivity.

Konftel has been making GAP compatible telephones for different DECT systems for more than four years.

DECT is a well-proven standard for safe, high-quality audio transfer. Konftel 300W will work seamlessly with already installed DECT/GAP systems, so there is an immediate and huge addressable market. A total of 159m DECT hand-sets and 105m base stations were sold in 2008.

With USB and mobile connectivity, the Konftel 300W also allows for a multitude of uses, including Unified Communications.

During last year's economic slowdown, Konftel decided still to expand its Development Department and sales force. This resulted in accelerated product development and a greater market presence (now with local sales offices in USA, UK, Germany and France).
