Sharp launches the Windows Collaboration Display (WCD), a native 4K 70-inch collaboration display featuring Microsoft Skype for Business certification.
The 70-inch interactive display complies with Microsoft specifications in combination with Sharp touch technology and sensors operating with Microsoft Azure Digital Twins for monitoring of collaboration spaces. It also includes an integrated camera and 4K sensor, together with far-field microphone and speakers. A single connection allows the addition of 3rd party accessories such as external mics, speakers or cameras.
A built-in Internet of Things (IoT) sensor unit connects to the Microsoft Azure Digital Twins IoT platform and other commercially available cloud and subscription services, including the upcoming Sharp Synappx WorkSpaces, as part of a smart building environment. The display also includes the Sharp "pen-on-paper" experience and a 10-point PCAP capacitive touch surface.
