ClearOne launches the COLLABORATE Live 1000-- a system featuring the Beamforming Microphone Array Ceiling Time (BMA CT) designed for large environments, such as large-size boardrooms, auditoriums and lecture halls.
The BMA CT is housed in a standard ceiling time, but in actual fact is a PoE-powered mic the company says includes full-room microphone coverage, adaptive steering (think of it as smart beam selection), noise and echo cancellation, and amplification, all before the signal is sent to a DSP mixer. An onboard 10W 2-channel amplifier can drive x2 ceiling-mounted loudspeakers, and customers can daisychain additional BMA CTs to cover larger spaces.
In addition, the COLLABORATE Live 1000 includes COLLABORATE Space cloud conferencing, Skype for Business client, SIP/H.323 video conferencing, wireless presentation, interactive whiteboard, recording and streaming. The system also comes with the CONVERGE Pro 2 48VT DSP mixer and a UNITE 200 PTZ 1080p60 camera with 12x optical zoom.
