Aurea Buys Collaboration Developer Jive

Wave Systems, an affiliate of private equity firm ESW Capital, acquires collaboration software developer Jive Software for $462 million, adding it to the Aurea technology solutions group.

Jive logoPost-acquisition the Jive product offering will be integrated into the Aurea customer experience management platform. The result gives Aurea an internal and customer-facing community creation tool as well as access to the Jive customer list, one including the likes of T-Mobile, Schneider Electric, McAfee and EMC.

The Jive core product, the Jive Engage Platform, enables colleagues, co-workers and partners to communicate and collaborate with user platforms, group forums, status updates and other social networking tools. Meanwhile Aurea has a technology platform and global delivery capability required to build, execute, monitor and optimise the end-to-end customer journey across a range of industries.
