German system integrator Qvest Media continues its "strategic expansion" as it opens a location in Copenhagen, Denmark serving as a central hub for business in the Nordics and Baltics.
The Copenhagen base extends the Qvest Managed Technology business division, whose portfolio comprises cloud services, infrastructure-as-a-service and support, into N. Europe. Leading it is the company's Nordic managing director, Peter Thomsen.
“The Nordic and Baltic countries are an important and attractive market for us, which is characterised by great openness for new media and technology trends," the company says. "With our experience in the design and development of digital and media technology infrastructures, we would like to play a significant role here in the future."
Founded in 1991, Qvest offers managed services, consulting, system integration and support to media, broadcasting and telecommunications companies. It has partnerships with HP, Cisco, EMC, Oracle and Microsoft, and employs around 200 people in Germany, France, Switzerland, Denmark, Dubai and Singapore.
