Accenture and Oracle announce a collaboration dubbed The Accenture Oracle Business Group-- an consultancy effort with the aim of pushing Oracle Cloud-based Accenture solutions to more enterprises.

The companies also speak of "accelerators, prebuilt adapters and industry-specific extensions" running on Oracle Software-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service offerings. These should help customers accelerate cloud migration and simplify cross-pillar integration.
Such services also include pre-integrated cloud solutions and the help of 52000 Oracle-skilled consultants and 20000 Java-skilled professionals based across the globe.
