Now Microsoft partners can also sell their applications (and reach more customers) via the Windows Azure Marketplace-- with a Microsoft-commissioned study saying partners deploying solutions on Azure generate 20% - 250% more revenue through entirely new customers.
eBay, Fujitsu and HP deliver turnkey cloud services in their datacenters through the Azure platform appliance.
Partners in need of on-premises deployment can use Microsoft's private cloud solution-- using Windows Server, Hyper-V and System Center. Microsoft should release a new System Center 2012 beta this week.
Further announcements at Wordwide Partner Conference include Windows server's next version (code-named "Windows Server 8) and the new Microsoft SQL Server.
