Equinix Extends Oracle Cloud Reach

Equinix announces it is extending the global reach of Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, allowing enterprises across five continents to easily and privately connect to Oracle Cloud on Platform Equinix.

Equinix OracleThe expansion reaches Zurich, Toronto, São Paulo, Sydney and Tokyo, and provides customers in these metros with private and secure connectivity to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnect via Equinix Cloud Exchange Fabric (ECX Fabric). Cloud interconnection on Platform Equinix delivers also delivers a secure and dedicated connection between customer datacentres and Oracle Cloud, allowing enterprises to migrate and run compute, applications and data workloads to Oracle Cloud in a high-throughput and scalable manner.

Currently Oracle FastConnect is deployed in six Equinix IBX datacentres in Amsterdam, London, Frankfurt, Chicag, Sydney and Washington DC. Equinix also provides private onramps to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure FastConnectivity in 32 more metros globally, including Dublin, Dusseldorf, Geneva, Helsinki, Madrid, Manchester, Milan, Munich, Paris, Stockholm, Warsaw and Zurich here in Europe.
