Juniper Claims Easier Multicloud Management

Juniper sets to make management of workloads on multiple cloud environments easier with Contrail Enterprise Multicloud-- a platform  with multidomain orchestration and advanced analytics capabilities.

Juniper ContrailPositioned as a more open alternative to Cisco ACI or VMware NSX, Contrail Enterprise Multicloud enables policy and control capability for any workload across multi-vendor networking environments and most server deployments on any cloud, be it public, private or both. Customers can manage and monitor workload policies from a single command centre, streamlining workflows across bare metal servers, VMs, containers and network devices.

Real-time infrastructure performance monitoring (IPM) for datacentre networking devices, together with cloud infrastructure and application monitoring, provide visibility and analytics. Juniper says Contrail Enterprise Multicloud can even predict, alert and remediate issues in real-time.

In addition, Juniper offers a 5-step multicloud migration framework-- a methods-driven approach for the creation of a "customised path" to multicloud. It covers architecture, products, tools, processes and people, and (obviously) incorporates Juniper multicloud solutions as well as available professional services.

Contrail Enterprise Multicloud comes bundled with Juniper's QFX series Switches, as well as implementation services ensuring customers can connect, orchestrate and secure the datacentre network. In addition, Juniper professional services offer turnkey processes and tooling for network implementation and test automation.
