Microsoft and KPMG enhance their current "strategic relationship" through a global collaboration in the creation of data and analytics, cloud compliance and transformation, and business solution suites.

KPMGMicrosoft's Azure, Dynamics and data platforms make the basis for the collaboration. On top of that the two companies will "develop and deploy solutions and services that will help address the disruptive challenges topping the Board agenda today."

This includes the creation of a single scalable platform for the handling of cloud-based Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) and analytics solutions.

As mentioned earlier the collaboration covers 3 areas-- data and analytics (through new integrated platform and Microsoft data solutions), cloud compliance and transformation (through Microsoft hyper-scale, enterprise-grade and hybrid cloud technologies, as well as KPMG know-how) and business solutions (via KPMG-developed Microsoft-based solutions).

"We are excited to bring together KPMG's industry expertise, global network and business transformation acumen with Microsoft's enterprise cloud technologies, data, analytic and business solutions to help customers deal with their most challenging issues," Microsoft says. "KPMG's deep experience in global business transformation combined with Microsoft Azure, SQL Server, Power BI and Dynamics will help our mutual customers compete in today's mobile first, cloud first world."
