TeradiciIt also optimises bandwidth further through the addition of caching support.

According to the company the Hardware Accelerator offloads PCoIP image encoding tasks to reduce CPU loads, with the 2.3 driver allowing the reduction of bandwidge usage by up to 50% to ensure successful VMware Horizon View deployments.

“A high-performance and consistent user experience is often difficult to achieve with many VDI implementations, creating a great opportunity for our Teradici says. “The new 2.3 driver release enables users to leverage caching support, for more optimal usage of available bandwidth, and greatly improves user experience at the remote end point for VMware Horizon View deployments leveraging GPU support.”
