AFORE Solution launches CypherX-- a cybersecurity solution for virtualised desktop (VDI) and cloud-hosted applications based in Windows environments, including VMware, Citrix and Microsoft VDI deployments.
Deployable by either cloud providers or private cloud customers, CypherX sits between the application and OS and uses AES 256-bit encryption to secure data flowing between the file system and the network or clipboard.
It works on multiple hypervisors (VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V, Xen, KVM) and supports multiple virtual desktop platforms (VMware Horizon View, Citrix ZenDesktop, Microsoft VDI).
An App Lockdown feature creates secure virtual containers for applications complete with application-level granularity, while CypherZones allow for protection of a complete application stack or workgroup environment.
APT Defender protects against APTs via proactive data encryption.
Centralised security policy control across multiple virtual machines comes through CypherX Manager integrated with Active Directory and RSA Data Protection Manager.
CypherX is currently in beta testing, and should be available on October 2013.
