The latest addition to the HPE Small Business Solutions line is the ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 Plus, a server the size of a typical hardcover textbook offering "industry-leading" automation, remote management and security, and Intel Pentium and Xeon E processors.

Aimed at SMB customers and available on a subscription-based basis, the ProLiant MicroServer Gen10 Plus is small and light enough to allow carrying and placement in any-size environment. It carries HPE-exclusive "silicon root of trust" technology, meaning it extends security protection to the silicon-level. The company claims it protects data, detects issues and rapidly recovers from malicious firmware attacks, and is also recognised by insurers in the Marsh Cyber Catalyst program.

The cloud-based InfoSight for Servers management tool allows SMBs to monitor server health and use predictive analytics to predict and prevent issues before business is impacted. Integrated Lights Out 5 (iLO5) allows customers to configure, monitor and update servers seamlessly, and customers can run core business applications on-premises in the office and concurrently consume cloud-based services using Microsoft Azure.

“We are committed to helping small businesses innovate, serve their customers, and drive growth and digital disruption by empowering them with enterprise-class technologies that uniquely address their needs for IT expertise, budget and space,” HPE says. “The design of our latest HPE MicroServer and strategic pricing model was inspired by our SMB customers to meet their expectations for the most economical, secure and easy-to-manage solutions that supports their entire business operation.”
