Fusion's ioDrive Octal achieves 1 million IOPS and 6 GB/S bandwidth from a single PCI-E card, currently the highest performance in the industry.
In addition it also achieves up to 5.7 TB of linear capacity per PCI-E slot.
The ioDrive Octal holds x8 ioMemory modules-- the equivalent of 8 ioDrives in a single card. It fits any PCI-E x16 Gen2 double-wide slot.
Fusion's ioSphere software platform also makes it a complete server-attached, storage-class hardware, software and services memory solution. The company says it is ideal for climatology, cosmology, nanotechnology and defense applications.
