AG Neovo: Eco-Widescreen Displays

AG Neovo upgrades their flagship X-Series widescreen displays: the X-24 and X-22 built “to do their duty 24 hours a day, seven days a week.”

Their LED LCD panels reduce power consumption by as much as 38%, and they run on less than 0.5W at stand-by mode. The EcoSmart Sensor detects ambient luminance and adjusts the backlight automatically.

Some 1759 trees can be saved if you install 100 X-22s running 24 hours a day, 365 days a year for a period of 3 years. On top of a 33,482-kg reduction in CO2 emissions, the power bill saving calculated Read more...

Paradigm’s Glass Screen, A New Direction for Rear Projection

Designed and manufactured in Paradigm’s own factory in Bedfordshire, the Paradigm Glass Screen key differentiator is the optical-quality glass surface which only faces the viewer and provides options for anti-reflective and colour tints.

The Paradigm rear projection surface faces the projector directly, avoiding traditional limitations, namely of brightness uniformity and internal reflections within the glass, causing double imaging. Available in up to 14 metre width (and in many different formats), Paradigm has prioritised image quality and ensured that optimisation for clients' specific needs is represented.

By customising its screens to the application, using bespoke screen material, Paradigm is providing options for all applications, including soft-edge blending, multi-projector, simulation, signage and boardrooms across the 14 metre width. The customer is encouraged to test all options before selecting the screen type that will most appropriately suit the project. Read more...

Peerless-AV Short Throw Mounts

Peerless-AV supports the popular trend for short throw projectors with a new range of short throw projector mounts (PSTA models and PSTK mounts).

How important are short throw projector mounts? Pacific Media Associates has released their findings on the current use and future purchase intentions of organizational projector users. Says Dr. William Coggshall, President of PMA. “Respondents showed a high interest in short-throw projection, and 40% of future fixed projector purchases are expected to include mounting for a short-throw projector.”

The Peerless-AV PSTA and PSTK models are designed for both education and corporate applications where the ease of set-up and simple fine adjustment are preferred.

Both the PSTA models and PSTK models come in three different lengths to cover all short throw projectors, including ultra-short throw versions. Read more...
