HP fires a long shot at a server turnaround and launches the first commercially available "Project Moonshot" products-- the Moonshot 1500 enclosure and the ProLiant Moonshot servers.
First revealed 18 months ago, Project Moonshot is the HP take on low-power mobile processor-based servers, promising savings of up to -89% in power, -80% in space and -77% in costs, compared to traditional servers.
