NEC Display Adds 55-inch Panels to UN Series

NEC Display announces the UN552S and UN552VS, a pair of 55-inch additions to the UN series of displays featuring bezels of just 0.44mm surrounding an anti-glare, high-haze IPS panel designed for seamless multi-screen configurations.

Aimed at digital signage applications in retail, corporate and broadcast environments, the video wall panels feature commercial-grade features, including enhanced OSD colour control, easy content distribution and "superior" software capabilities. Each panel is factory calibrated for luminance, RGB, white point, uniformity and gamma, and customers can self-calibrate the displays by plugging in an external SpectraView sensor.

The panels also feature colour control via on-screen display (OSD) with luminance and colour gamut controls, as well as brightness, uniformity, hue, saturation and offset. An ongoing feedback loop (between the SpectraView Engine, physical panel, internal sensors and look up table settings) maintains a constant brightness for a longer period of time.
