Crestron starts shipping the HD Scaling Presentation Switcher & Extender 400 (HD-MD-400-C-E)-- an HDMI switcher and extender pair aimed at small meeting rooms, huddle rooms and classrooms.

The package contains a 3x1+1 switcher, scaler and extender. The switcher has 2 HDMI inputs, 1 VGA input (with 1 analog audio input), and sends HDBaseT to the receiver mounted behind the room display or above the projector. The receiver features an additional HDMI input for a local source.

The pair handles video and computer sources with 1080p60, 1080i30 or WUXGA 1920x1200 resolution. Wiring distance reaches up to 70m.

Extron starts shipping the DXP 1616 HD 4K and DXP 168 HD 4K-- the first two models in a high performance HDMI matrix switcher line for resolutions up to 4K (4096×2160 @30Hz at 4:4:4 and 4096×2160 @60Hz at 4:2:0).
