The collaboration market is at an all-time high, Synergy Research Group reports, as Q4 2017 revenues total $10 billion, thanks to strong growth in hosted/cloud solutions.

The analyst includes enterprise voice, UC applications, telepresence, email software, enterprise content management, enterprise social networks and housed/cloud communications and applications as part of the collaboration market. The quarter sees "particularly strong" growth in teamwork applications, cloud/hosted email, cloud file sharing and contact centre as a service (CCaaS), while teamwork applications such as Cisco's Spark and Slack are "an emerging and super-high growth area."

Marshall Electronics announces the CV620-WH2/BK2 at NAB 2018-- an PTZ camera featuring a 2MP 1/2.8-inch sensor able to deliver 1920 x 1080 resolution video.

The camera is controllable remotely via RS323 over ethernet cable or RS422 over twisted pair, and uses common protocols for compatibility with most integrated control systems. It offers multiple outputs, including HD-SDI (3G) and HDMI (DVI), and many broadcast adjustable settings such as white balance, exposure, iris, gamma and black level. The pan-tilt range spans 340-degrees horizontally and 120-degrees vertically, with simultaneous 4D control of pan, tilt, zoom and focus.

Yealink presents a 2nd generation videoconferencing solution aimed at huddle room use at ISE 2018-- the VC200, an all-in-one solution featuring camera and codec in a slim design customers can mount on top of monitors or TVs.

The VC200 features a 4K camera equipped with x4 lossless zoom, E-PTZ support and a wide-angle 130-degree lens able to fit all meeting participants without need for camera adjustments. A built-in 6 beamforming microphone array takes care of audio, while 16GB of storage handle any required recording.

The largest and busiest Integrated Systems Europe in its 15-year history drew to Amsterdam RAI a record number of exhibitors and attendees from around the world for the latest in conferencing, collaboration & meeting room technology.

Throughout 15 halls, visitors could experience 1296 exhibitors, (294 exhibiting at ISE for the first time). They filled 53,000sqm of exhibition floor space (floor space already booked for ISE 2019 is 103% of this.)  

The number of registered visitors by the end of the show had reached 80,923, an increase of 10.3% on the 2017 edition. Importantly, almost 20,000 visitors attended the last day of the show. More than 30% of the total attendees were visiting ISE for the first time.
