Vogel’s Professional wins a Red Dot Award. The Video conferencing furniture, PFF 5100, introduced this year at ISE, has won this prestigious international award for Product Design 2012.
The Red Dot Award is selected by an international jury of designers and design experts. Red Dot explains: “This year, approximately 1800 companies from 58 countries took part. The internationally renowned expert jury was faced with the daunting task of evaluating a total of 4514 entries in the product design category. In the end, only the very best products from the field of top-class participants were selected”.
Especially developed for the purposes of video conferencing, this Vogel’s furniture offers space for one or two displays and all of the necessary equipment, including camera and speakers. The PFF 5100 can be stylishly integrated into almost any environment. The integrated wheels mean that the unit is easy to move.
The aluminium panel on the front is easy to remove, allowing access to the interior where a codec and other peripheral equipment can be installed. Optional Vogel’s Connect-it interface bar and interface display strips give the opportunity that one or more displays can easily be installed.
On 2 July 2012, the official award will be presented during the Winners Dinner by the Red Dot organisation in Essen, Germany.
