Black Box announces its latest ServSwitch Secure KVM with USB switches at Washington's FOSE 2011 conference, now featuring additional military-grade security.
The switches come in 2- and 4-port desktop DVI or VGA models and offer control and separation of either 2 or 4 PCs connected to both secure and non-secure networks through a single keyboard, mouse and monitor.
Each unit carries fail-safe security features, including tamper-evident tape on the casing, automatic unit disabling in case of breach and a metal case featuring dual shielding in critical areas.
Meanwhile their low-emissions profile prevents data snooping through electromagnetic radiation detection.
All models conform to international Common Criteria Evaluation Assurance Level 4 (augmented by ALC_FLR.2 and ATE_DPT.2) standards, while all VGA models also meet the TEMPEST USA NSTISSAM Level I and NATO SDIP-27 Level A performance levels.
Two of the VGA models also support keyboards with integraded Common Access Card (CAC) readers-- a feature making them meet HSPD-12 requirements.
