More than ever, the workforce needs technology and tools to stay productive, HP says as it launches a range of additions to the Personal Systems portfolio, including mobile workstations, desktop Elite PCs and "ergonomic" monitors.

HP work from home

“As we experience a new normal that blurs reality between life and work, it’s clear that the PC is essential-- allowing us to work, live, learn, collaborate, and create regardless of distance,” the company says. “Today’s line-up of innovative products, our largest commercial product launch ever, including the next generation of Elite PCs and desktops, the world’s first ergonomic monitors with always-on low blue-light, and the world’s brightest 14-inch mobile workstation, along with dedicated services to improve remote employee experiences, reinforces HP’s commitment to equipping workers with the right tools, power, and performance for the ultimate work from home experience.”

The latest EliteBook models offer a choice of 5G or 4G LTE connectivity, a wide-angle 88-degree webcam complete with integrated privacy shutter, AI-based audio and a redesigned keyboard with rubber dome keys. The EliteBook x360 1030 G7 and 1040 G7 are premium models featuring 10th gen 6-core Intel processors, while the EliteBook 805 G7 and 800 G7 Series machines come with a choice of AMD and Intel processors in 13.3-, 14- and 15.6-inch sizes.

In more professional laptops, the ZBook lineup claims pro-level performance and construction meeting the MIL-STD 810G standard for reliability and durability. The ZBook Firefly 14 is the smallest and lightest mobile workstation from the company, while the ZBook Firefly 15 is the lightest HP 15-inch mobile workstation. Both feature Nvidia Quadro P520 graphics, 4GB RAM and up to 10th gen 6-core Intel Core CPUs, as well as optional 4G connectivity and an HDR 400 4K UHD display.

Moving on to desktop PCs, HP claims the EliteOne 800 All-in-One G6 is the most powerful commercial AiO machine. It carries a 10th gen Intel Core processor in a 23.8- or 27-inch display with a thin profile and "sophisticated" design. Optional Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Super graphics make it a VR-capable AiO, while the low blue light, anti-glare display supports several stand options. Meanwhile the EliteDesk 800 G6 series promises enterprise-class productivity, reliability, security and manageability in a choice of 3 form factors-- Ultra Small Form Factor (USFF), Small Form Factor (SFF) and tower.

The HP Collaboration AiO G6 with Zoom Rooms is an integrated solution with a dedicated Zoom Rooms appliance, making it ideal for a focus room or executive desk. The Zoom appliance makes it easy to join meetings, with one-touch start and no need for headsets. It runs on Windows 10 IoT and includes a 5MP pop-up camera with a wide 88-degree viewing angle, integrated speakers and microphones.

The company also has a number of monitors to go with the desktop PCs. The E-Series monitors claim "ergonomic" capability through an always-on low-blue-light and TUV Low Blue Light Hardware Solution certification. The E14 G4 is a 14-inch portable monitor with USB-C connectivity, and the U27 is a 4K wireless monitor allowing for easy connectivity through Bluetooth.

All the above mentioned HP products will hit the market on Q3 2020.
