Poly (formerly Plantronics and Polycom) announces an addition to the Blackwire line-- the Blackwire 8225, a corded plug-and-play headset desiged to reduce background noise and deliver uninterrupted communications.
Three hybrid active noise-canceling (ANC) levels allow users to adjust, to fit to the work environment and to tune out household noises such as vacuum cleaners or workplace chatter. A noise-canceling microphone enhanced with Poly Acoustic Fense technology also reduces background noise, like nearby talkers or barking dogs.
In an office setting, IT teams can remotely manage the Blackwire 8225 with Plantronics Manager Pro, the separately available software-as-a-service solution. Poly also offers a Microsoft Teams version of the Blackwire 8225, with a dedicated Teams button providing access to the Teams desktop application for calls or meetings.
