Planar announces an addition to its portfolio of LED display solution with the Planar FX series, a range of fine pixel pitch LED video wall displays promising to bring image detail and resolution levels usually reserved to lower light private spaces.
The series offers outdoor models in 1.5, 1.9, 2.6, 2.9 and 3.9mm pixel pitches, in addition to indoor models with 1.5, 1.9 and 2.6mm pixel pitches. The range brings up to 3500 nits indoors and 4000 nits outdoors, with such high resolution and brightness making them ideal for up-close content during daylight hours. The company suggests use in lobbies, corporate campus exteriors, transportation, retail environments and hospitality.
The displays also include LED treatments for protection against UV rays, dust, water and casual contact, without any negative impact on the viewing experience. Optional masking plates on the backside cover cables and protect them against vandalism and other wear and tear common in high-traffic environments. Customers can also adjust brightness to accommodate daytime and evening usage.
Planar FX displays feature full-front service and magnet-secured modules, and measure 500x500mm. They are built for fixed installation or hanging and stacking designs, and are designed to support flexible, customised and architecturally integrated LED video walls, including video walls with 90-degree corners.
