Vaddio announces the AV Bridge 2x1, a solution the company says make it easy to record and stream high-definition video and Dante audio networking with two HDMI inputs and multiple outputs.
With two HDMI inputs, customers can connect either two cameras or a camera and a computer, easily switch sources and set side-by-side or picture-in-picture for seamless live presentations, lectures and video calls. Meanwhile 1080p USB 3.0, HDMI and IP streaming outputs allow one to simultaneously capture their computer, enlarge the source with an in-room display or stream to online platforms such as Zoom, Webex, YouTube and Facebook Live without need for special software or drivers.
The AV Bridge 2x1 can also automate presentations, with trigger inputs for devices like the Vaddio StepVIEW Mat or overhead IR sensors. Thus, users can control Vaddio camera positions over the network, switch video sources or overlay graphics for high quality production. With Telnet, web, serial and trigger controls, the device fits into any room system.
Typical applications include lecture capture, corporate events and videoconferencing. Users can switch between views of the presenter and audience, and add a company logo or speaker name. Built-in echo cancellation mitigates feedback to ensure clear audio during videoconferencing. The two-channel audio I/O allows the use of existing audio, and users can install low-latency Dante network audio.
