Fujitsu launches its self-service cloud platform (the "Fujitsu Global Cloud Platform") in the UK, saying its the first major vendor to launch such a service in the country.
The platform offers a self-service platform to organisations, allowing them to retain full control and management of their cloud-based ICT infrastructure within a flexible environment complete with drag and drop functionality.
The portal environment allows system managers to easily change server/HDD/load balancer configurations, install applications or change firewall policies.
The company says it hosts data in a Tier III certified data centre, with multiple redundancy layers and automatic failover servers as standard.
The service is immediately available, and Fujitsu offers potential customers a 30 day free trial on its site.
