ClearOne announces COLLABORATE Space Enterprise-- an on-premise collaboration platform the company says combines the functionality of a cloud collaboration app with increased security and full control.
In addition to the on-premise "Enterprise" platform, COLLABORATE Space is also available in cloud-based "Basic" and "Pro" flavours. All 3 versions are audio and video conferencing applications with a full suite of collaboration features, including scheduling, messaging, integrated file sharing, whiteboarding, annotation, meeting minutes and more. It unifies multiple users via audio and video, and allows users to make calls to both landlines and mobiles.
In addition, the 3 versions of COLLABORATE Space allow users to create searchable, persistent private and public channels, organised by topic, and can include agendas, notes, messages, documents, whiteboards and audio/video recordings. The UI promises to be easy to use, and runs on desktops, mobile devices and all ClearOne COLLABORATE Live room systems. Gateway software allows interoperability with traditional H.232 and SIP systems, while white label options allow customisation for partners or customer brands.
