Barco announces an addition to the OverView LCD video wall series-- the OverView LVD5521B, a 55-inch 500-nit LCD solution featuring a 1.8mm seam, modular structure and the option of operating the (redundant) power supply remotely.
Designed for control rooms, broadcast studios, corporate lobbies, experience centres, meeting rooms and signage applications, the LVD5521B carries integrated sensors on the back using the Sense X algorithm to automatically and continuously calibrate colour and brightness. A modular approach allows for easy servicing and less downtime, since one can easily remove the input boards and power supplies for maintenance and replacement.
The LCD connect box provides a user-friendly video wall setup and control interface. The display is fanless for noiseless performance and less moving parts susceptible to wear and tear, while the remote redundant power supply option makes it suitable for 24/7 operation and mission critical applications. DisplayPort 1.2 allows customers to feed x4 displays in loop-through with 4K@60 content.
The OverView LVD5521B ships from June 2019.
