IoT Platform-as-a-Service startup UrsaLeo announces the beta release of its IoT and Cloud platform-- cloud-enabled hardware able to collect data and deliver dashboards, sensor diagnostics and data storage management.

B2B can start using the platform through the purchase of a development kit. Different kits based on popular embedded processors are available, including the NXP i.MX 6UltraLite (with Murata WiFi/BLE) and the Raspberry Pi 3 Model B+ single board computer. All kits come with a Silicon Labs Thunderboard Sense 2 carrying 10 environmental sensors, and are loaded with code for connecting to the UrsaLeo platform and sending data within a few minutes after setup is complete.
Beta platform users also can work directly with UrsaLeo to add sensors, port code to own hardware and white label the platform for existing and potential customers.
