QSC adds to the Q-SYS Networking Solutions with the NS Series-- a range of network switches and networking solutions purpose-built for enterprise AV-over-IP designed to simplify system design and installation.
The NS Series is a range of enterprise-grade, manageable 1/10GbE network switches. They are pre-configured Dell EMC network switches built for the Q-SYS Platform, but are also compatible with existing 3rd party AV-over-IP products from the likes of Crestron, SVSi and SDVoE.
Available in 8-, 24- and 48-port models, the switches provide real-time transport of Q-SYS AV&C, as well as AES67 and Dante audio streams simultaneously within the same VLAN, without need for manual configuration of network switch or end points. Offered as a plug-and-play solution, the switches should support the entire Q-SYS ecosystem, including future Q-SYS processors and peripherals.
Large enterprise installations demanding converged network infrastructure for a Q-SYS deployment get independent network switch qualification from the University of New Hampshire InterOperability Laboratory (UNH-IOL), an independent provider of broad-based testing and standards conformance services for the networking industries.
