Lenovo joins forces with Cloudistics to expand the ThinkAgile portfolio-- the CP series, a composable "cloud in a box" solution consisting of Lenovo ThinkSystem hardware and Cloudistics software.
The CP series comes complete with fully-integrated infrastructure, application marketplace and end-to-end automation of software-defined networking, compute and storage. Management comes through software-as-a-service portal, and the result promises the agility of the public cloud paired with the security of a private cloud.
Further features include integrated high availability, backup, remote replication, usage metering, live help and support, and multi-layered, multi-tenant security. The marketplace provides a curated selection of applications for deployment, while compute and storage come in plug-and-play, scale-out units.

Lenovo offers 2 CP series options-- the CP4000 (a 1x 2U compute node enclosure with 10Gb SFP+ network modules and 2-4 compute nodes) and the CP6000 (with up to x10 compute node enclosures (up to x4 nodes per enclosure), 10Gb SFP+ network module and 1-5 storage blocks).
