Marshall launches the CV502-U3 at InfoComm-- an HD USB POV camera aimed at the proAV and UCC markets featuring plug-and-play connectivity with any PC, Mac or Linux system supporting USB 3.0 input infrastructure.
The camera uses video capture drivers included with common computer software and software codecs. Utilising UVC 1.5, common teleconference and video capture programs can adapt best resolution and frame rate for optimal performance. For further manual adjustment and control, Marshall offers free downloadable software.
The CV502-U3 carries the same sensor and processor as the popular Marshall CV502, CV505 and CV565 miniature cameras. It delivers up to 1920 x 1080 resolution at 60/50.9/50fps, with low 0.2 lux (colour) minimum light sensitivity ensuring accurate, sharp colour images even under low-light conditions. The camera ships with an interchangeable ultra-wide 2.3mm 1206-degree angle-of-view (AOV) HD lens, and Marshall offers a wide assortment of lens options for a fully customisable AOV and focal length per camera within an installation.
Also included is the CVM-5, an adjustable heavy-duty monitor/desk mount clip users can position and adapt to any installation using the common 1/4”-20 tripod interface. Ideal as a permanent fixture in huddle rooms and conference rooms, the CVM-5 is flexible to enable ideal positioning for the right shot during podcasts and livestreams.
The CV502-U3 ships with a 2m USB 3.0 cable with thumb-screw locks, allowing multiple users to setup quickly and adjust without loose cable connection worries.
