Vaddio announces the RoboSHOT PTZ camera line now supports the NewTek NDI software-driven IP workflow, allowing customers to join the largest IP ecosystem for professional audio and video devices.
Through NDI integration customers can pair any RoboSHOT camera with NewTek Spark converters. Other NDI-enabled applications and devices connected to a standard local area network recognises RoboSHOT cameras as a video source, and operators get with pan/tilt/zoom controls, creating a complete IP workflow.
"By adding NDI capabilities to Vaddio’s RoboSHOT cameras, our customers will have the ability to create complete IP workflows for classrooms, houses of worship, medical simulation labs, and other applications requiring capture and presentation of high quality video content,” Vaddio says. “NewTek’s NDI technology complements Vaddio’s product philosophy of being simple to install and operate for our customers, and we look forward to partnering with them.”
NewTek NDI technology allows the bi-directional sharing of video and audio sources across a network, eliminating the need for direct connections, cable runs and infrastructure upgrades. In addition, every source becomes a destination instantly available anywhere on the network.
