Nuvias announces plans to roll out its Unified Communications (UC) Practice-- as based on recent acquisition Siphon-- across EMEA, starting with Germany.
Siphon is already established in the UK and Benelux, and will be released across EMEA through Nuvias regional branches over the coming months. UC vendors old and new will be able to to take advantage on Nuvias' growing UC capacity across the region, while channel partners can take the opportunity to enter the UC market or expand further.
“A major reason for joining Nuvias last year was the chance it gave us to grow and expand both in the UK and internationally. The UC EMEA launch of Nuvias lays the foundations for achieving that ambition," Siphon managing director Steve Harris says. “This is a very exciting time in UC across EMEA, with really significant opportunities for the IT channel to move into the lucrative UC market and conquer the legacy competition. We believe that, as part of Nuvias, we are the right solutions and technology enabler to provide the service, support and technical know-how our channel partners want to help them make the most of this market opportunity.”
Acquired by Nuvias back in October 2016, Siphon offers solutions for channel partners deploying both cloud- or premise-based UC solutions and services. It names a number of big name vendors, including BroadSoft, Polycom, Lifesize, Oracle, AudioCodes, Panasonic, Yealink and Dubber. Channel partners include Gamma, essensys, exponential-e, Freedom, Tancroft and Esprit Telecom.
