The latest addition to the Sharp AQUOS BOARD family is the PN-LC401C-- a 40-inch interactive display capable for use in landscape, portrait or face-up orientation.
While it can serve as an interactive sign, the PN-LC401C is mainly aimed for SMB offices, since it enables collaboration in "huddle space" environments. It promises a pen-on-paper user experience with an anti-glare surface resistant to fingerprints and scratches, with 1920 x 1080 resolution and 10-point multi-touch control. Stylus input is also supported via Sharp Pen Software.
A detachable tabletop stand allows one to either put it at the end of a table or hang on the wall like a picture. Sharp says it is light enough for attachment via Velcro, since it weighs just 11kg.
The included expansion slot is compatible with the Intel Mini Open Pluggable Specification (Mini OPS), and it receives content via wireless connectivity or HDBaseT input.
