Mezzanine Wand

Oblong Industries will be showcasing at ISE 2017 the latest visual collaboration capabilities of Mezzanine, the company’s dynamic solution for innovative workplaces.

The platform’s visual collaboration technology intends to define a new era of infopresence, enabling distributed teams to manage the increased complexities of business.

Mezzanine bridges the physical gap between distributed teams, creating a common digital workspace where teams can share ideas and data, accelerate decision-making and collaborate more effectively.

The latest generation of Mezzanine, with its advanced remote participation capabilities, hopes to release organisations from the usual constraints of common conferencing solutions.

Its capabilities include:

•Flexible number of displays across multiple wall surfaces: Visual real estate is essential for immersive presentations and data sharing. Mezzanine provides lets you expand the visual workspace across multiple walls and screen configurations to show content, share work and engage audiences.

•Variable display configurations: Customise your workspace to fit your room and your work. Merge displays or projectors to span an entire wall or work with your existing room plan to activate every available surface for presentation and interactivity.

•Layout tools: With so much content and so many screens at your disposal, Mezzanine makes it easy to organise your content. Create your own video wall with automated layouts, or mix, match, and move content interactively without the need to decipher and master a complex switching device or content management system.

•Remote Participation: Mezzanine enables remote participants to connect from anywhere on the internet - no VPN required. Traveling colleagues and business partners are engaged participants in a meeting with full ability to control and contribute to the Mezzanine workspace in real time. And with built-in support for video conferencing from the web browser, there’s no need to manage multiple devices to be seen and heard.

Oblong was founded by 2015 National Smithsonian Design Award winner, TED presenter and MIT Media Lab researcher John Underkoffler, who envisioned the future of workplaces for films such as Minority Report and Iron Man.
