Avaya launches cloud-based on-demand purchasing options and features for its web.alive platform.
The platform's new purchasing options make it available as a service (via monthly subscription or annual concurrent user based pricing).
The update also includes a number of new features, including an enchanced 3D audio engine, built-in collaboration tools (including desktop sharing and cooperative web browsing), new templates and a whole range of analytics tools. A downloadable SDK allows customers or hosts to create and upload their custom content.
The company's Aura SIP interface integrates with existing communication infrastructure, thus enabling users to join sessions via either telephone or inside the web.alive environment.
