Matrox announces its Mura MPX display wall controller board series-- combining input and output cards onto a single-slot PCI-E x16 Gen 2 board.
This setup manages 64 GB/sec full duplex data transfer for full frame rate HD input channels. It supports both digital and analog video input (HD, SL-DVI, RGB/VGA, component, S-Video and composite).
The boards can also capture and display data at zero-compression RGB888 image quality.
Multiple MPX output/input boards can be added within a single system, incorporating MPX video capture cards for high-volume analog video input deployments.
The series includes an updated SDK (backwards compatible with existing Matrox PPX/VPX boards) and new network API software (with integrated media input/output control).
