Avaya names Maan Al-Shakarchi as head of networking in EMEA and Asia-Pacific, where he will be responsible for sales of Avaya networking solutions, with a focus on Fabric Connect Technology.
He reports directly to EMEA and Asia-Pacific president Nidal Abou-Ltaif.

Al-Shakarchi joined Avaya in 2005 as part of the Nortel team. Most recently he led networking business for the Global Markets Theatre, overseeing implementations with customers such as Al Noor Hospital, Burj Khalifa and the Dubai Stock Exchange.
