NTT Europe will merge its managed hosting subsidiary, NTT Europe Online, into the company-- a move it describes as "another step towards becoming an ICT service provider".
NTT Europe Online operated as a 100% owned subsidiary since 2006, with a focus on managed hosting and related services. Meanwhile NTT Europe's core business lies in providing ICT infrastructure.
Thus the merger furthers NTT's position in Europe as a one-stop ICT solution provider.
Business, staff and asset transfer procedures are already complete in France, UK and Germany, with the Netherlands, Switzerland and Spain to follow. Once transfers are complete, NTT Europe Online will be liquidated.
