Düsseldorf's ESPIRIT arena has over 80 TV screens-- all fed by a Teracue-powered IP network.
The screens connect to the network via Amino STB's (through HDMI or multi cable). For satellite signals, Teracue employs x6 DVB-TV, DMM-140 series DVB-to-IP gateways.
The system feeds 21 tv channels into the network as IP streams-- and an unlimited number of STBs can be fed by a single TV-network stream.
The stadium uses x3 Teracue ENC series encoders for media production, generating in-house video streams feeding specific signals (like a "Fan-TV" and advertising channels) to the screens.
ElementManager software carries out STB switching to specific video streams before, during and after events. It controls STBs either individually or in groups via network.
Teracue's DVB-TV gateways and STBs are in use at the arena since October 2010's upgrade to HD video.
