Infortrend and ATTO Technology team up to announce a joint 16G fibre channel (FC) solution providing a flexible and high performance storage for demanding workflows of the 4K/UHD media editing and large block streaming variety.
Such a high-bandwidth solution is also ideal for media and entertainment deployments, High Performance Computing (HPC), data centres and other performance-critical workflows, the companies continue.
The 16G FC solution combines Infortrend 16G FC storage with ATTO Celerity 16G Host Bus Adapters (HBAs) allowing the simultaneous editing of multiple 4K streams. Holding the two together is ATTO MultiPath Director, a solution connecting both servers and workstations directly to enterprise-class storage.
