Masergy launches Global Cloud Communications-- a hybrid voice solutions service promising to simplify migration from legacy PBXs to cloud-based UC services.

Global Cloud Communications leverages on recent Masergy acquisition Broadcore-- the Broadcore hosted UC platform is now integrated into the Masergy global MPLS network.
The solution includes consultation (where Masergy defines the best migration solution), hosted UC (cloud-based, enterprise-grade HD voice solutions) and "Intelligent" SIP trunking (cloud-based "trunks" connecting customer-owned PBX hardware to Masergy hosted voice services).
The feature suite is fairly extensive, with mobility, global presence, instant messaging, texting and video calling.
